Inspired by an electron micrograph of synthetic carbon nanotubules resembling a forest and river (see cover), ‘Molecular Forest’ mean-ders through a variety of genres, grooves and synthetic textures. Already known as a master of ‘Balaeric’ beats, this time Timonkey delves even harder into midtempo bassline whomps and electro synth pop leads. Some of the most surprising tracks on this release however are a Timonkey take on good old US west coast House music, with a strong dub vibe and definitely a good dose of celebration, tracks like these bring us back while still moving forward.
From his roots in dub, funk and ambient music, Timonkey's sound has been evolving further into the synthetic realms of midtempo glitch. He crafts his tracks using a combination of found sounds, analog synths, live instruments, and software wizardry, all from under the shade of the ancient redwoods. Influenced by years of collaboration with the 13 Moontribe, Raindance, and Nexus crews, he brings a unique flavor to the West Coast underground.
Another Muti release from a friend, and we've got the exclusive promo!
Julien Cuenin aka "Krumble The Discobreaker" is one of the most powerful hardcore junglist from France with a strong dj background. He released numerous ep's on several high aclaimed labels like Rotator's Peace Off, Damage, Deathsucker, Jungle Therapy and now INVITRO ...
Our French breakcore talent is delivering, in this new invitro records release, a really heavy and intricate vision of Dubstep, think Vex'd meets Electric Kettle and you are not far from it. Huge drums hitting the ground like meteorites, synthetic dub synths from outerspace and few oldschool rave vocals cutups are the main components of this dancefloor bomb.
Another wicked release from France, only here at Addictech.com!
Kether may be a new signing with it’s debut release on Muti Music, but are no strangers to the performance limelight, already having dominated the Los Angeles underground warehouse and art music scenes and also being considered the act to bring in to fill the bill when acts like Shpongle or Tipper come to town. Kether took their act on the road this year and their gigs have included rocking the Do Lab stage at Coachella.
Marine Layer now comes out having been tried and tested as a live set and is primed for maximum effect. The music on Marine Layer is a unique fusion of glitched out beats drawing on influences including Minimal, Progressive House, IDM, Dubstep, Breaks and Glitch Hop and also including many organic textures that will please many. Kether is made up of two West Coast based producers known as Ruff Hauser and Stephan Jacobs. who write, breathe, create & produce music. Kether’s music is composed using analog hardware & software and is based on the idea of two opposite spectrums of sound, coming together to form one in unison. The word ‘Keter’ means crown in Hebrew. Kether is best described as pure consciousness, beyond all categories, timeless. This omnipresent state of mind, formed by two elements of dark and light, creating a neutral ground for sound waves to flow.
Scraping The Grinder LP complete! Its been 2 years in the making, but its finally here and ready for the shelves. The debut LP from Aeroplane Dope is made up of a collection of Dubstep moods and Grooves along with two Drum and Bass anthems to take you into 2009.
Entitled 'Scraping The Grinder' to express Aeroplane Dope's and seemingly Dubstep's want to act against the the grain of today's modern, busy and stressful lifestyle. As well as delving into issues close to Aeroplane Dope's own ideologies. Tracks such as 'Mother Earth' explore issues around the environment and how people live their lives. With references to his home town and own experiences, for Aerpolane Dope this album is a soundscape to his life and his attitudes towards living and the world around him. The album also sees Aeroplane Dope collaborate with the likes of Bristol based Producer, Bad Chemistry, for their track 'Dead Dog', presenting a chilling Dubstep rhythm, with the album picking up and slowing down in pace to create a flowing, rolling continious piece that peaks at uptempo, intense Drum and Bass while slowing the pace for relaxing, grooving Dubstep beats.
Addictech is proud to offer this to you as an exclusive promo release! Get in!
"Drift" is the debut full length album from electronic producer Nosaj Thing. His electronic sound scapes and wild beat tectonics play like vignettes that affect the listener's mind as deeply as he hits their soul. Without a doubt, Nosaj Thing is among L.A.'s finest musical modulators.
Nosaj Thing has received Artist-to-Watch accolades from XLR8R, remixed Daedelus and Flying Lotus, won Plastic Little/Turntable Lab's remix contest featuring MF Doom, and won L.A.'s prestigious Project Blowed beat battle. The BBC has been especially supportive of Nosaj Thing, with major spins from Pete Tong and Mary Anne Hobbs. He has shared the stage with the likes of Z-Trip, DJ Krush, Free the Robots, Flying Lotus, Glitch Mob and Daedelus. He's also a staple and a crowd pleaser at L.A.'s seminal Low End Theory club night. Comparisons run along with Ratatat, DJ Shadow and Boards of Canada.
Musicality, impeccable production, originality and the soul intonated through glitch. This is what we are here for!
Muti keeps the pace with one of their hottest new artists that had a very successful debut year in 2008. This time with an album of his signature sounds of dubbed out, glitchy bass tracks and instrumental Hip Hop.
Mostly composed while on a trip to Uruguay in Jan 2009 Heyoka has delivered a trippy , dubbed out set of tracks that show homage to oldschool dub while playing with modern glitch effects, instrumental hip hop, and elfin sonic layering, the result is a listen that could find your mind drifting into unfamiliar spaces that may surprise many.
Heyoka’s sound has led to more international engagements in 2009, with festival bookings in Australia and Canada in addition to maintaining a hectic US touring schedule. His early influences in Downtempo, Dub and IDM combined with more recent mid-tempo dancefloor genres have helped create a very unique sound that combines relentless basslines, hip hop and dub rhythms with a lot of musicality and melody.
The continual evolution of Heyoka’s productions and his ability to continue to sound uniquely ‘Heyoka’ is evidence that the road for this young producer is going to be a long and prosperous one.
The second new signing to Muti Music of 2009 is already receiving comparisons to another southern US based producer, i.e. Bil Bless AKA SOTEG.
Klone hails from a southern industrialist city, Birmingham Alabama, named after it’s UK counterpart and providing the ideal environment for urban expressionist music that is both melancholy, post apocalyptic and funky enough to move a dancefloor. Klone has taken full advantage of this environment producing edgy music with synth leads that are both melancholy and pretty, sitting over tough beats and basslines that growl as much as they whomp and groove. Following in a tradition of Muti artists who don’t stick to one tempo, Klone supplies four flavors that will fit right in with your 90 - 115 BPM collection.
For our seventh release we bring you a fully dynamic album from another local West Coast secret weapon!
Although fresh to releasing his material to the public, :Metaphor: (a.k.a. Dave Jolley) has been at the controls as a DJ, producing transmissions for the West Coast movement for nearly a decade, pounding the bassbins through his multidimensional and heartfelt compositions. In 2006 Dave took a position teaching electronic music composition alongside other major artists at the Red Bull Music Academy, solidifying this :Metaphor: into shape, and now we bring his first full length release to you!
A timeline of the progression of an artist, “Historic Pathways of Awakening” shows 7 years of artistic output, a diary of growth as a person and a musician. A fleshed out sketchbook of reaching for something higher, better, and more magical through sound. In the end, the release achieves his initial vision of a combination of funk and textured layers melding together from deep wells of intention, reaching for you to enjoy the space as much as the creator. Big dancefloor bangers, funky hip twitchers, and sunrise salutations, :Metaphor: lives up to his name, expressing many feelings and frequencies across the waveform of life.
The cat is out of the bag! The secret must be revealed. The :Metaphor: is here for you to experience, get in now!
Individuality and manipulations of genre have created a buzz surrounding Martyn in the past two years, with his intonation of the dubstep technoid waveform creating a sound all to his own.
Great Lengths is the culmination of his ever expanding musical palate: Huge basslines and dark atmospherics, uplifting and warm garage, precisely produced techno, and floating ambient spaces. Martyn brings you to an organic space that begs for another listen. Experimental yet totally coherent, being compared to a more “dancefloor friendly” Burial, it is a challenge to describe the nature of this distinct individual sound.
There is only one way for you to find out for yourself what this Dutchman has to offer! Get in and turn it up!
Subvert hails from Calgary, Alberta and his winding path in music started in 1996. Proof of his dedication to bass is in his track record of creating the world's loudest competition vehicles, designing pK's 90,000 watt sound system and managing the Village Stage at Shambhala Music Festival. He started DJing in 2000 and combined with his extensive work on sound systems and attention to precision sound, he was ultimately & naturally led down the path to creating his own music productions and once again the low frequencies consumed him. Subvert's sound is a combination of throbbing, relentless basslines, melodic strings and haunting pianos singing through midtempo glitch / acid crunk and dubstep. His attention to detail and the ability to tune into bass that works on a sound-system can be felt in all of his music productions, he is an expert in the subsonic, the crowd and the show.
This year appears to be an even hotter one for Subvert with a US & Canada tour and major festival bookings and this all new 4 track EP that will rattle a building off it's foundations if given half the chance.

It is in full rotation as this is how we feel slow bass music should sound! The original 64 Bytes squashed clubs and tweaked the rave with its psyphy bounce and instantly recognized and incredibly infective melody. For our first release of 2009, Addictech Records takes it to an entire new level! Putting together a crack team of remixers for the project, they all take a spin and give it a re-rub for the future! Fat squelchy bass and knocking beats are in full effect, giving proper homage to an instantly classic underground Bay Area dancefloor favorite!
After nearly two years of questing through the audio underworld, wrestling crocodile-headed samplers and taming fire-breathing speaker stacks, Spoonbill has returned to the earth's surface, ready to address his ecstatic followers.
His message: Zoomorphic, a shapeshifting sonic celebration of Spoonbillism. Zoomorphic is set to earn Australia's most unique aural oracle thousands of fresh converts across the globe. Zoomorphic is the third album by electronic musician Spoonbill (aka Jim Moynihan), following the critically acclaimed Megafauna (2005) and Nestegg (2007).
This time around, Spoonbill's anarchic, quirk-funk, glitched-up aesthetic has been forensically finessed like never before, sculpted to a well-bodied medley of groove-based sound art.The Zoomorphic experience is crafted from an intricate web of edited studio recordings of exceptional musos melded with found sounds, foley folly and synthesised materials, much of which was captured while recently touring across US, Canada, Europe & UK. Squishy pulsating bass lines carpet the undergrowth, while dirty squelchy synth licks frolic in a warped menagerie of neurotic cyborgs, rattlesnakes, sirens, champagne froth, fireworks and crushed eggshells.
The jamboree coalesces to form a single groove shrieking beat-creature, covered with feathers, scales, bells and whistles. Zoomorphic is a diverse musical mutant for late-night dancefloors, introspective train-rides, and everything in between. This fresh batch of Spoonytunes will captivate fans of glitch-hop, IDM, breaks, psychedelic electronica, folktronica, dubstep, trip-hop and more – but the Spoonbill's mighty call can't be pigeon-holed into any single genre. Some folk call it “vaudeville electronica”, responding to the jovial carnival feel like circus clowns with lobsters in their pants.
"Free Energy" puts all the elements of the recent midtempo breakbeat and glitch hop revival on display, featuring edgy bass driven beats, complex drum programming, melodies and vocal stylings inspired by classic Underground and Hyphy Hip Hop. It takes the listenener into this bold new territory with a fusion of the whompy bass sounds that are driving the new movement, and tight, HIp Hop and Reggae flavors.
Knowa KnowOne's title track "Free Energy" features sacred spoken words from Wiseproof, Firewater, New Eon and the ever-conscious flow of Seasunz, from the group Wisdom, most recently featured on Bassnectar's "Underground Communication". Ethnic and indigenous rhythms are blended and syncopated to finely tuned breaks, beats and bass throughout the EP, which also includes a collaboration with one of Muti’s recently successful artists Mimosa, on the track 'Incantation'. For all the DJs out there, the acapella version of "Free Energy" is available.
What Knowa KnowOne delivers is a head-nodding hiphop lover's trip. You can also find productions by Knowa KnowOne and his collaborative project "KnowSleep" on Street Ritual Recordings, featuring Downtempo, Chillout and Instrumental Hip Hop.

This Muti gem started out as a project of sharing parts and remixes between LayerZ and Los Angeles based group ‘Kether’. This resulted in a conceptual EP using the sound palette to create three distinctively different evolutions of the same sound! LayerZ production style has always caught peoples ears with his special gift of sound design and evolving sound spaces, so expect to see a lot more of these experiments in the near future.
Lindsey (a.k.a. Audiovoid) has done his rounds from playing in a metal band, creating bass-driven techno, Industrial and IDM, more recently rolling out some of the best Dubstep, Elecrobreaks, and Glitch Hop around. LayerZ is his outlet for his take on slower tempos, providing space for next level sound design to his typically glitched out beats and effects. Receiving instant praise and play from the likes of Si Begg and Bassnectar, with comparisons to Neil Landstrumm, Ital Tek and Andy Page, Lindsey is only beginning to show us his full potential.
Direct from San Francisco via beautiful Marseille, France - IOT Recordings delivers 3 tracks of twisted dancefloor mayhem with the 3 Step Behind the Cube release. Always a master of taking sounds and tweaking them to an original shape, Audiovoid's aggressive beats mashed with beautiful melodies and hacked up layers of sound remind us that music can rock the body as well as the mind! Softbluecubes is one of our favorite tracks from Lindsey, here he gives it to us at 2 tempos, he's got a sound of his own and it is here to stay! Funny Ox rounds out the release with a breakbeat/dubstep hybrid - an original banger that progresses through hacked dubstep riddims to funky booty bouncing - blended together with all the right glitches and bass to push our buttons!

Typically dipping into multiple influences and emerging with something broken in beats and flirting with Dubstep/Grime, Garage, Electro and Downtempo shapes, the result is something that pushes a few edges technologically and somehow retains a sense of worldliness. In Nanda’s music it’s common to catch samples of Didgeridoo, Ood and ancient chants amongst other organic instrumentation. All in tracks that have some of the most crunchy electro breaks grooves, and the result is an intense ecstatic dance experience waiting to happen.
A whole year has passed since Chi's last multi genre package "Cup Of Chi", yet again they bring to your door a selection of goodies, this time a careful mixture of beats, cuts, glitches, and just a bit of pepper. AMB's "Rust" has been hammering the breakbeat floors for some time now, which is followed by the massive Fine Cut Bodies techhouse rework of "Be Infected" (original by the Hungarian vocalist, Varga Zsuzsa). The closing piece is brought to you by the Hungarian glitch maistro: Kodek, who has prepared a deep melancholic downtempo for the colder winter nights. Chi delivers a wonderful package of various sonics. Good music clearly doesn't stick to one genre!

Do androids dream of electric sheep? Do they long for a Data Treat?
An alien love transmission rips from the speakers at a remote outlaw soundsystem at the end of time, ricocheting inwards to now catalyze human evolution.
As fragments of these tools are discovered, this sci-fi electro bump bounces its way across the universe bending the shape of spacetime through mutant synth hooks, intricate glitched electronics, and soul quaking sub bass.
Addictech is proud to bring you the latest offering from the Lawgiverz, one of the first of a series of releases of holographic sonic gateways – The Data Treat EP!
Local Zeros is the home for solo output of producer Marc Adamo, who under his Product.01 guise has remixed the likes of Si Begg/BuckFunk3000, Jean Paul Bondi/Volsoc, Dave Clarke, Adam Freeland and many more. Bullet Holes keeps it coming in a hard and messed up style, with precision-moulded glitch and heavy UK bass as the main components in the mix. Expect plenty of dark, mutated dance-floor killers like Vicious Exit, which came like a shot out of the dark and landed on Tayo’s Fabric Live32 mix; quickly becoming one of the most sought after tracks with its crossover appeal for both tweaked-out breaks connoisseurs and dubstep bass-heads.
The Ncounterz series is a sub-project of the I.O.T. labels, which main purpose is to join intergalactic forces with other like-minded labels are on split EPs. For this second installment, they team up with Torsion records, also hailing from Marseille downtown area, and give out 2 monster tracks of high octane dubstep induced beats. Arok, already known for his mental yet dancefloor tracks released on I.O.T. vinyl and CDs, and Probe1 from Torsion records, deliver “The Hunt”, a half tempo epic travel towards spaces where dubstep, glitch, and breaks influences melt shamelessly at 130 bpm.
The second assault is peak time tunage from Loan (whose first album will be released in 2008 on DTC records), and Rimshot (one half of the Interlope duo, signed on Expressillon records). “End of Negociation” illustrates how an exquisite arpeggiator and a devastating bassline can serve no compromise in styles.
San Francisco has long been a hotbed for emerging trends and technology and spurned an infinite amount of creative minds. The early 21st century saw the emergence of a musical outlet for these organic-techno-tribal-futurist beings with a core belief in the holistic value of vibrational frequencies in the form of Muti Music.
The word, 'Muti' is taken from the 'bantu' word for 'tree' and is used throughout Africa as a term for 'Herbal Medicine http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muti - Hence Muti Music serves as a committed outlet for the commercial release of cathartic, expressionist and healing frequencies in the form of transformational audio waveforms that create a vibrational response within ones being.
In the past few years the musical efforts have been rewarded and 'Muti' has been featured internationally in print media, supported with online and FM radio play, licensed to third parties and proved to be a valuable launch pad for some of the most unique and talented music producers, while at the same time successfully pushing emerging electronic music production trends.

Made with a number of contributing musicians including Greg Hunter (Subsurfing/Alien Soap Opera), Master Margherita (Peaking Goddess Collective), Shiranami, and Craig Musham (Organismic), this highly engaging album overflows with intricate yet raw tracks that are sure to shake bass bins worldwide.
As an advance digital release, Viceversa is available for download exclusively on Addictech ahead of the official CD release date of May 9th.
BC's well-known downtempo label Interchill Records delivers another diverse release of organic electronica for expanding minds courtesy of Mauxuam.
Viceversa is the debut album by Mauxuam aka Maurizio Liguori, a veteran of the global underground electronic scene. A distillation of music recorded over a 3 year period as he was traveling between continents, Viceversa is a nomadic diary with a multitude of influences. With deep roots in afrobeat and psychedelic funk while borrowing elements from dub, dub-step, breakbeat, glitch and found sounds along the way, Mauxuam offers up a groundbreaking and visionary odyssey into free range electronica.
This release finds Tipper digging into his digitally re-mastered back catalogue [Vapours, Multiplexus], and re-working several of his own previously released tunes [Swipe, Jowls], creating an album reminiscent of 'Holding Pattern' and 'Relish The Trough' before it. He has also ‘let go’ of several originals, until now exclusive pieces which received considerable reaction during his sets over the years [Deez, Carousel], acknowledged happily by avid listeners far and wide. This is also quite likely Tipper’s final foray into the uptempo breakbeat genre that he helped create.
Rag & Bone records is the creation of pioneering DJs Warlock and Noyeahno. Founded in 2002, Rag & Bone is based in South London and heavily influenced by dark bass culture. The sound is a collision of Dub-Step, Breaks, Electro, Old Skool Flavas and an infusion of dark electronics. Because of its cross fertilization of styles, Rag & Bone has a maverick sound and remains in a league of its own. Warlock & Noyeahno have been the mainstays of all the early output, but now as Rag & Bone gains a foothold, the ranks are being bolstered by a roster of innovative creators such Blackmass Plastics, Drop The Lime, Aaron Spectre and King Cannibal. Recently Starksound records was set up as a sub label to cater more exclusively for the darker sound of dubstep and has alreday seen some fine releases from the likes of Starkey and Crooked One. In short its bass heavy mash-ups for the dancefloor.
Cup of Chi, the series that each time brings together 3 songs of various genres, has reached it's 11th release. DST may not ring a bell to all ears, although he's been in the electro and dubstep scene as a producer and DJ for many years now. Sirk and Asthring this time teamed up and not only together but with singer Noenoe too, and Cooler shows us how to hypnotize a plate of corn flakes.
Cooler: Hypnotised Cornflakes
Chi already had records featuring thier in-house medical-student-music-manipulator, Cooler. Now he's back with his new house number that in fact, does give the impression sometimes of your average morning plate of hypnotized corn flakes.
DST: We Are Robots
Heavily influenced by the works of Tipper, Si Begg and Aphex Twin, DST delivers this glitchy piece of breaks that creates a perfect harmony between the nasty, cold environment of robotic noises and rich, warm textures. Asthring + Franklin Deluxe: Mom (Featuring Noenoe)
Like a bunch of glitchy musical garbage - sounds are going crazy, nasty, and very bad here but it makes absolute sense with some vocals and keyboard elements brought to role. Sirk and Asthring teamed up with vocalist Noenoe for this occasion only.
En:Vision Records started life in 2002 to showcase the wealth of talent that had been picked up on by Glen "Future Funk Squad" Nicholls.
Throughout the past 5 years the label has consistently built its reputation on the strength of it's dedication to high quality breakbeat. There is no particular En:vision style other than that of quality production and tracks that can withstand the test of time. This becomes apparent from its first release between Digital Pimp and R-Kidz entitled "Menace/2-Bit Hooker" through all subsequent releases from top artists such as C83, Chris Carter, Andy Page, PMT, Madam Breaks, Kraymon, Nuboy and more...FFS himself has provided some of the many top notch remixes for the label alongside Christian J, Elite Force,EK, Nr. No Hands and Jariten. Envision's sound remains true to the underground while giving it's dedicated fanbase one unforgettable classic release after another. Watch out for forthcoming slammin releases from the likes of FFS (Future Funk Squad), Beatman & Ludmilla, C83 and Nuboy............

VibeSquaD is the multi-personality brainchild of Aaron Holstein, and his 1st full length release “Bass Love” (2008) is out now exclusively at Addictech. 11 full-figured tracks calibrated to make things happen. (This album bumps! Check it)
In 2007 Aaron released tracks on NativeState, Proboscis, Interchill, Muti, and Sonic Dragon (Hong Kong). Addictech has almost the entire Vibesquad release collected under his Artist Minisite: http://vibesquad.addictech.com
Though his legendary live sets may cause whiplash and heart attacks in the unsuspecting bystander, those prepared to launch get much more than they bargained for. Aaron's music defies typical genre-labels and covers tempos from slow 'n hard lowriding krunkadelics to mid-tempo barnstormers all in a seamlessly flowing soulful mash. Dirty and beautiful as life itself. This release is absolutely one of the hottest selling releases at Addictech, tune in and find out why!!
Combat is formed from a mysterious clan of warriors, operating on samurai battlefield ethics and philosophy.
Led into battle by a silent, faceless demon, the clan achieves victory efficiently with a small bunch of highly trained sonic fighters including Scorn, Cursor Miner, ScanOne, Blackmass Plastics, Ardisson, Komonazmuk, King Cannibal, Stormfield and more.
The raging gunfire of militant bass-charged electronics is their sound of battle, sometimes likened to electro, dubstep and breakbeat though it's really a combination of all of these, and none at the same time Though based in London, this "mutant samurai bass" sound has spread and found allies like Mary Anne Hobbs (Radio One), Surgeon & Yardcore crew and can be heard across events like Bloc Festival, Yardcore, No Fixed Abode and Illuminate (Prague)
Check Combat's new release that is exclusive to Addictech: a Synapse remix of Point B's Underneath the End. Locking the original track for ages in a dark room and feeding it nothing but sub bass and amphetamines, the new version remembers little of it's former innocent self and is now hungry for blood: a heads-down, shark-eyed and darkly euphoric pulsing electro beast, gagging to be unleashed on dancefloors.
The Cyberfunk Music Group was formed in 2001 by DJ Quest. Following on from the huge success of his early releases on Rat Records, Botchit and Scarper and Hardcore Beats, DJ Quest decided it was time to launch his own brand of breaks and path the way for a more club driven breakbeat sound. Cyberfunk was born from Quest’s ambitions to bring breakbeat into a new era whist maintaining its traditional funk roots.
“The vision I had for the label was of a technical and futuristic type of breaks whilst still retaining funk. Given the word “cyber” is often associated with all things technical and futuristic I thought it was the obvious choice!” – DJ Quest
Cyberfunk’s ever changing styles and sounds have gained new fans at every turning, but old fans are never left feeling out of the picture as all Cyberfunk releases have something in common – a true grip on ‘the funk’ and the ability to made a dancefloor explode.
Addictech.com is proud to be the exclusive provider of Cyberfunk's latest outing "Speaker's Corner" by DJ Quest and Eskmo! A wicked dancefloor bomb with a heavy political message!
All hail Volsoc!!! In their final EP, and first for Spacebar Sentiments, Volsoc delivers some of their strongest, most cavernous, and dirtiest material to date.
The electro-overlords deliver with pure, dirty and glitched out pieces of alien breakdance music from the future and beyond! With dirty crackling synths, quick turns, and weird shit around every corner....constantly changing from IDM to breaks, to electro and back again. Never a dull moment, and always an interesting ride.
Complete with wicked hand-drawn artwork from Volum, and out now as a digital download pack that also includes an EXCLUSIVE remix of one of the classic Volsoc back catalog - Bumper (Volsoc 10001 Spaceships Attacking A Very Small Planet Remix)!!!
One of the most played releases here in the Addictech lab right now, you would swear we were at a multiple room rave with Volsoc rocking every one of them! ;)
For our 4th release we've searched the deepest jungles for the tweakiest frequencies and were bitten by the Skeetaz!
Skeetaz are the combined forces of Bil Bless (SOTEG, The Disciple Grin) and James Kilowatts (Kilowatts), colliding their musical styles and production techniques to create a 3rd entity of incredible frequencies. Mind warping bass, heavy glitched up breakbeats, freaked out rhythms and voodoo soundwaves are the name of this dancefloor electronics game :)
We've assembled an amazing cast of characters for additional DSP dissecting, sonic alchemists Justin Maxwell, The Lawgiverz, and Crystal Distortion contribute their mutations of the Skeetaz waveform selection.
Check out the Skeeta bytes and let these infections into your bloodstream!
Bless Records makes a new entry to their catalog with beatsmith Bil Bless' full album Squarnch!
Everything you would expect from Bil is here, and more - a classic Bless release with all of the bass, bleeps, melodies and tweaks that tickle the eardrum and excite the imagination.
A wide variety of sounds will be found on this release, from downtempo to dancefloor and back again. Bil is obviously having fun with his musical tools and presents a gift for us all to enjoy.
Dave Tipper makes music for sound systems. With diversity that ranges from bass-fuelled electro-breaks, to intricately programmed orchestral compositions, this is music that demands to be played at high volumes to expose the incredibly detailed sonic space.
Tippermusic is a devastating collection of snarling, bassline, dancefloor bombs and after-hours, alien-abducted atmospheres. Listeners who dig into the musical vaults of Tipper’s extensive catalog of aural landscapes will know that there is much more to Dave Tipper than could ever be put into words.
Addictech is addicted to Tipper! So much so, that we produced a custom site for him. Users can listen to Tipper’s mixes, sample and purchase downloads, join his mailing list and check tour dates. We hope that you find Tippermusic.net to be a worthy showcase - if you haven’t been there yet, check it out!
For our 3rd release on our in-house label we wanted to introduce a funky freaky booty vibe to your earholes, and San Francisco resident EPROM delivers with his 64 Bytes EP!

This package comes to you in download and CD format for all of your psyphy digital needs. Crack these tracks on your nearest soundsystem and see what a little funkified goodness can do!
Satamile Records presents some of its most world re-known artist for the first time on Addictech.com!
Satamile is one of the earliest purveyors of the new Electro scene coming out of NY City in the early 90's, pushing electro into a bigger and heavier sound of bass and breaks while keeping the eccentric sci-fi nature of the genre intact.
The label itself is internationally assembled with artist from upwards of 10 different countries and extensive physical distribution world wide. Addictech is excited to host the majority of Satamile's LP productions in digital download for the first time in full resolution FLAC and Wav formats. All tracks were mastered at the world re-known studios of Frankford+Wayne, NY City with no expense spared.
This is not minimal electro but a hybrid built for the future, fuller and much broader in sonic scope assembled from some of the best international electro producers. Blotnik Brothers for instance, were featured on Dave Clarks "World Tour 2" LP, Silicon Scally aka Carl Finlow of Ralph Lawson's 20/20 Vision label, Bytecon from Belgium, Umwelt from France and the infamous EMS who literally makes his own synths and drum-machines from the transistor up. Dance with a robot now to the Satamile catalog, and see how they help in creating the definition of the Electro sound.
Alpha Pup just dropped the new edIT album on us and it is HOT!
Here is a little bit about edIT, the album, and why you shouldn’t sleep on this release!
"A love of hip-hop and a desire to create what I hear to be hip-hop in the future. A fusion of complex cutup edits and rhythms mixed with catchy aggressive dancefloor hip-hop… We are just trying to make the music that we want to hear because no one else has made it for us." - edIT
Although the fun-loving nature of the music is evident, it also delivers a deeper message of peace and unity. According to edIT, "the idea behind the name 'Certified Air Raid Material' has often been misunderstood with violent connotations and negative undertones. Though the sound of this album is aggressive, raw and in-your-face, I am trying to use this album as a mirror to present state of affairs in our world. With this album I am trying to show that we have no more needs for bombs, violence, fear and negativity. Alternatively, this album can be viewed as a soundtrack for us to release all of those aggressions on the dancefloor. In a time when the world is falling apart slowly at the seams, it is most important to realize there is always hope. And through the universal language of music we can unify so that we can elevate."
Trigger’s mission is to awaken the human consciousness through low frequencies with advanced computer programming and intuitive musical arrangements, allowing you to connect to a higher awareness of yourself. By molding spacetime via electro breakbeat using electronic sounds and breakbeat programming, the experience truly has the ability through its rhythmic tribal/shamanic nature to connect the soul to the overmind (or godhead).
Trigger Recordings was started in 2003 to allow a greater audience to be part of the Human Hologram Interference Project through electro breakbeat music. Trigger features exclusive tracks from Tipper, Si Begg, Lawgiverz, Jnr Hacksaw, Kosmikneil, Cold Fusion Mafia and more.
UK sounsbwoy BreakBeatBuddha unveils his latest salvo from the studios of “True Movement”. “The New Resistance EP” sees him building on the success of his last release “Mind Bombin’” which took dancefloors hostage and seized the attention of the worldwide dance community.
BreakBeatBuddha’s signature sound is a street savvy bad bwoy bass rebellion with a finger on the pulse and another pointing critically at political power. This EP pulls no punches and paves the way for his next full length release next year.
Keep it locked to Addictech for further deployments and full frontal assaults……
We're sure you know this humble king as Bil Bless. His legacy of monikers has spread through the breaks world - Son of the Electric Ghost (SOTEG), The Disciple Grin, LoBudg, 40oz Frap, Steak Soft Taco, Skeetaz, and Son of the Dope Computer
Bil is one of our favorite producers of dance floor electronics and is a good friend to boot! So the release of Bil Bless’ full-length album, It’s For Giving, felt like a special day for all of us! We had heard that Bless records was releasing Bil’s first artist-album under The Disciple Grin, and upon hearing it for the first time, we knew it was something special - so we threw it in the garbage!
We were too late though, as Bil had already uploaded the files to his mini-site!
Addictech has been Blessed again!
To our chaGrin, we discovered that Bil had placed an order for a 12” vinyl run with our credit card - a limited edition *PEPTO PINK* wax platta! When the box arrived, we found the 2 biggest dancefloor rumblers from the album, so we decided to keep them. ;) Don’t delay grabbing one of those 12”s – there will only be 500 copies pressed worldwide, and there will be no repress!
The Disciple Grin album "It’s for Giving" showcases Bil's wide range of output, from ambient downtempo to insanely glitched out frequency explosions, its all here. :) This release is available in download, Mixed CDR, and a 12" vinyl-single format exclusively from Addictech.com.
Sinister Recordings started out in 2002 with the intention of creating a label dedicated to pushing new talent and releasing high quality House and Breaks.
Sinister never has strict guidelines in what they will release. From the first few releases up until the present day, the label has displayed a varied array of styles, although rarely resists succumbing to a bit of Tech/Tribal House and tough funky Breaks. In other words, the Sinister sound needs to have a bit of attitude…
Commitment to diversity of style and a strict quality control policy has seen a whole spectrum of DJ, Press and Radio support. From the established International DJ’s such as Lee Burridge, James Zabiela and Orbital through to the best of the Breaks DJ’s such as Hyper, Meat Katie, Plump DJs, etc... every time you enter a dancefloor, there is a very good chance a Sinister track will be there with you.
Although 12” vinyl is still a large part of Sinister’s business, the label has become committed to creating a solid online strategy to make the catalogue available in digital formats, as well as promoting a series of online-only releases that cater for both DJs and music-lovers that are looking to buy their new music in digital format.
Sinister believe the diversity of the label is reflected in the diversity of its advocates and hopes to continue to provide only the best in upfront Breakbeat.
For too long dance music has remained staunchly homogenized into hard-line scenes and subgenres, yet Si Begg smashes the prevailing trends and sets new standards in electronic music. By showing complete disregard for genres and stylistic concerns, anything and everything is fair game, and this is a blueprint Si follows throughout his releases.
Since 1995 Si has embarked on an unstoppable musical path that would see him release a multitude of singles while constantly shifting labels and forever plundering styles and genres. Churned out under an alarming array of monikers including S.I Futures, Buckfunk 3000, Cabbageboy and plain old Si Begg, he also found time to run a number of labels such as Mosquito with Cristian Vogel, Noodles and Noodles Discoteque.
Bold, brash and stylistically diverse, the sonic frequencies that Si brings to the table stand out in a crowd of copycats and wannabees. His music points towards the future of electronic music, towards a world free of stifling genre boundaries and inverted snobbery, and a future beyond just the functional realms of the dancefloor.
Addictech is humbled to offer his collection to you, exclusive tracks that you will not find anywhere else, as well as all of the freshest new releases!
Addictech is now the exclusive provider of the pre release of the Skeetaz Remix!
J Hazen is one of the most forward thinking breakbeat producers in the US. His productions have got style, quirk, personality and a good portion of oomph. 700ft came out on a small net label some 6 months ago and created a bit of a stir, so much in fact that Sound of Habib felt it needed to come out on vinyl.
The Carbon Community remix from the original release is included and they've enlisted the help of US electronica dons Skeetaz as well as their very own Beta to step up the remixes to make one hot package.
The original release was supported by a cross the board selection of DJs and with the addition of these new remixes, more will follow. The Beta remix has been featured heavily on BBC radio 1 and the Skeetaz remix has the glitch and leftfield crowd up and jumping in excitement!
Chi-Recordings was founded in the year 2000 with the express intent to extend opportunities to Hungarian artists and DJs to show their talents outside the borders of Hungary.
The name Chi comes from the ancient concept of the flow of energy which fulfills and directs life and all its forms. Music is the representation in sound of Chi.
The label is trying to break from well-known musical schemes defined sharply into styles.
The Chi ethos believes music cannot be categorized by styles and trends, the only way to talk about it is in terms of vibrations and virtual worlds.
That basic thought led Chi to publish pieces of music regarded as exciting enough to share with the public independently of style (be it dub, ambient, breakbeat, techno, house, etc.).
This philosophy and Chi's publications will help establish a receptivity and a willingness to accept in the audience, who are practically lead beyond the commercially acceptable musical restrictions.
Always a fan of Chi, we are again humbled to offer the full catalog of releases on Addictech.com!
Lobotomy is back with Rob Dowell's 'Stick Figures,' second single off the forthcoming 'The Creative Itch' album. For this aural assault we've enlisted the help of heavy funk manipulators Skeetaz, Mr. Fine Cut Bodies and techno veteran Stryke.
Rob's Original Mix is a tech-house tune that is as hypnotic as it is large and in charge. Skeetaz have done our heads in with one of the sickest and funkiest breaks numbers we've heard in ages. Fine Cut Bodies continues to expand his horizons, giving us an uptempo Glitch Step number hinting at the sounds of experimental jazz. And Stryke, well, aside from taking time out from the Grammies (as the DJ AND Board member) and writing his Plastic City album, he's served us up a slice of relentless 4/4 beats, along with 2 beat tool cuts.
Need we say more? Nah, just listen. You know what to expect - the unexpected - as only Lobotomy does.
