The release of Master P on Atari Transformed vol1 is a futuristic and glossy rendering of urban club culture throughout the world. Master P vol2 is more subtle, more complex, more contemplative, and yes – weirder.
The remixes throughout are clear and brazen renditions of what the artist experiences when sampling Mochipet’s offerings. This release explores the genres of every electronic category known under the sun to bring you a well rounded release; sometimes breaky, sometimes skitzy, sometimes boomy, and sometimes bootie, but always Mochi!!!
*This release also includes complete remix parts for the songs: Marshall Bass Stacks, It Ain't Trickin If Ya Got It, and Godzilla New Year off of Mochipet’s Master P on Atari LP.
Copthorne MacDonald was born in Denmark but moved to the United States at the age of 15. Notoriously shy, it took months of persuasion by Pretension's A&R team to get him to put together a release for public enjoyment.
Employing modern digital trickery and old fashioned gadgety goodness (listen for scraped bits of wire, hammered on pots and pans, processed recordings of cats, etc), MacDonald's tracks are glitchy yet soothing, thumping yet relaxing. The lead track "Cloud" lives up to its title, with pinging analog electronics mimicking the random drift of clouds across the sky. The 18 minute opus "Poole Harbor" brings to mind Brian Eno trapped in a can full of dried peas, falling down the side of a mountain, while wrapped in a heavy woolen blanket.
We hope you enjoy this latest audio adventure from your pals at Pretension!
Full Melt Recordings from San Francisco is one of the original strongholds of dubstep in the US. DJ Ripple takes the helm of this ship, and brings us one of our favorite dubstep releases in a long time.
With Dubstep Meditations, Full Melt brings us a collection of the psychedelic, meditative, experimental and ethnic flavors of international dubstep. This is not your typical cookie cutter chainsaw dubstep release, and it is a very welcome breath of fresh air here at the shop!
These are the sounds and vibrations we truly feel. Tune in, turn on, drop bass!
Misk is a San Diego based transplant from California by way of the Middle East who enjoys a fine Pinot Noir. He also likes long walks on the beach and is currently obtaining a degree in Electro-Acoustic Music Composition. He has 8 years experience producing Bass Music, from DnB to Dubstep and now Glitch Hop, and has releases out on Terminal Dusk, Savory Audio, Code of Arms and Rogue Dubs. Misk also recently dropped a solo album, which was well received by the likes of Starkey, DLX and XI.
Now tapping his Nintendo Gameboy for retroactively cutting edge noises, Misk drops a solid EP on the Vermin Street label. The A Side, Nintendont, is a dance-floor fire-starter with clean cracking percussion and a dirty bass with multiple harmonics that grind at all the right spots. The Nintendont EP boasts a couple heavy remixes: A hot-as-hell, multi-bass frenzy from San Francisco based NastyNasty, an epic Dubstep tinted reinventing by Tilsburg based 8-bit menace, Petr Passive. Also included is Radio Theatre, is an uptempo two-steppy riddim with dualing Gameboy synths and a fun happy vibe.
All this courtesy of Vermin Street, a fresh new label from Boston, over flowing with new, glitchy, bass heavy beats!
From an early age inaudible had a passion for music and badly tailored suits, the former being a blessing in disguise as, born with a speaker for a head, he was never going to get a job as a Librarian or Taylor.
And so, for no other reason than to pad out his Biography and fulfill his love for writing about himself in third person tense, inaudible set out on the long road to becoming a superstar musician.
After spending such a long time away from the limelight Inaudible found himself hungry to get out there and threw himself back at the scene with a whole host of high profile gigs including warming up for Martin Luthor’s infamous ‘I have a dream’ speech and playing in-between rounds 2 and 3 of the Tyson- Holyfield ’ear incident’ fight. Incidentally during that same period inaudible became the first person to DJ on the moon, Armstrong pulling some mean moonwalks to Inaudible’s bassline bombs.
In other words – check out this new release from another emerging artist on Muti Music! ;)
Recently signed to I.O.T. Records, Caterva is back on the scene with the eclectic label from the South of France. From Marseille to Strasbourg…From south to north, the 4-record project in preparation represents the idea that musical influences come from every direction.
Caterva is at the 4 cardinal points of bass music. Over the course of 2010, 4 two-sided vinyls (with a third, digital track to download) will visit a few of the different musical styles on the contemporary electronic music scene. A bass culture opus, the first release is pointed North toward UK dubstep, recorded and mixed by Probe1 (Torsion Records). Assembled, the four designs complete a puzzle for you to discover.
This release is the first of 4 digital releases to this project and is currently only available at Addictech.com!
At Addictech Records, we are committed to working with the upper crust of our favorite producers, as well as exposing the hottest new artists that we can find. When Libton sent us his demo package, we knew immediately that he was an exciting new force that we wanted to take on.
The “Feel These Lazers EP” is destined to slay dancefloors all over the world with its epic hyphyness, thick bass, robot funk, and rolling anthemic charge, Libton drops the entire package all within his first release!
A self confessed “studio hermit and oldschool raver” the combination of production mastery and dancefloor energy collides in these 2 tracks, setting the stage for future releases, and cementing a position in the Addictech family.
Libton brings the fire! Its time to rush to the dancefloor and Feel These Lazers!

Quade’s mission is to incorporate the most cutting edge production techniques with a danceable midtempo groove thereby saving the dancefloor underground, the robots, and Mars all in one fell swoop! So start the REACTOR....
The Shift's second album "Spies" included one unique twist, coming from a collaboration one night in Brooklyn, with a guest vocalist named Bora Yoon. An amazing violinist and vocal talent, Bora has created her own unique sound and collaborated with many talented producers, most notably DJ Spooky and poet Sekou Sundiata. The track "On This Side" is a downtempo breakbeat trip with soul-fueled keys and Bora's harmonic vocal expressions .
Remixes came from all over the place, with an 8-bit inspired, haunting dubstep mix coming from Asheville's performance artist Bookworm. NY's Mike Dextro slips in a little Baltimore rave and reggaeton flava, with a peak-time dancefloor mix. Finally, Bay Area whizkid Lux is back, with a nasty glitched out dub that wraps up the package in fine form.
Get in and check out the latest release from Blunet Funk!
Psychedelic Stereo sounds a little like a combination of Joker meets Flying Lotus meeting ... well ... Mimosa.
Delving deeper into varying tempos and leading the way with strong synth leads and melodies, Mimosa takes the listener on a space age psychedelic journey of bittersweet ecstasy. Mimosa has made his mark on the west coast sound and in the past two years has become one of the top west coast exports. This young producers energy while performing is magnetic; the word has spread fast and Mimosa has recently shared the stage with the likes Benga, Skream, Rusko, Datsik, Glitch Mob, ill.gates, Bassnectar and Flying Lotus, playing shows across the US and festivals like Symbiosis Gathering, Burning Man and Decibel Festival.
Fans know Mimosa as someone who brings an energy that is as fierce as it is friendly, taking them on journeys through urban chaos and ecstasy. Take a trip and crank up this Psychedelic Stereo!
Bolz Bolz, one of Germany's leading electro producers, is back with "Lift Going UP" a 6 tracker LP from the producer who set the template for the neo Electro scene, so get ready for super high quality Electro sonic production.
"Lift Going UP" the title track, sounds off with vocals for this super express elevator to outer space, followed by crunchy grinding beats, undulating saw bass lines, rhythmic grooves and Electro Sci-Fi madness. Expect this track to be a hit, for its distinctiveness of character that steps beyondthe standard realm of musicality that Bolz Bolz does so well. The releases from Bolz Bolz have been described as "Future Retro", but such a prolific artist is almost impossible to categorize. This is his world that he clearly owns, a storyteller through sonic waves of another time, making this one of the most unique records of the year.
Every track on this LP functions as a different chapter of this Sci Fi electro adventure with the listener at the end thinking "Wow, what world was that"??
Thats the Bolz Bolz world: our godfather of the neo Electro world scene, so with much respect, we present "Lift Going UP"
Don Goliath "Nah ease up de fyah EP" is a next wicked 4 track EP delivering high grade dubs that you know him for.
This EP is a wobble massacre with that ear catching guitar lick, "Looking for" is getting chilled out loaded with tech chord stabs, "Overstand" is a 2stepish syncoper, and "King Tubbys Submarine" beams you right back in the lofi times sitting at the submarine controls right beside the king of Dub. Sub all over.
More bass music from Don Goliath and Dubstep Division!
Barcelona based producer Filastine dropped his 2nd full-length release Dirty Bomb in early 2009 simultaneously on five record labels, and critics called it the prototype of globalized urban sound, awesome & delicate...hybrids so fluent they defy classification, 180 degrees away from stultifying, one-dimensional track making.
With this record in pocket, Filastine circled the earth twice in a 100-stop tour that began at a squat in Jakarta, Indonesia, tore up Europe’s most respected festivals (Sonar, the Berlin Transmediale, Amsterdam Dance Event), and ended in a cloud of teargas outside the Climate Summit in Copenhagen. Along this journey he met the producers behind these remixes.
The result is a broad collection of bottom-heaving rumblers, shot with sinister melodies, chop-shop vocals, lofi dub echoes and atypical breaks, constructed with a depth of both frequency and concept. 100% talent. 0% industry-fueled hype.
Rooted in dubstep, Baltimore breaks, glitch-hop, and raggacore, these tracks are influenced by all of the above - but none can be so easily defined. Genres, like national borders, rely on division and exclusivity; this is the sound of ambiguity, experimentation, and broken fences. Call it what you want, transnational bass, global ghettotech, or simply music; it is the sound of now that must be heard, and we aim to deliver it.
Klone created a stir in the glitch-hop and breakbeat/electro bass scenes in 2009 with his release ‘The Push Effect’ and follows up with an early release here in 2010 slamming his glitchy and bass influences together with his own take on Dubstep.
Klone hails from a southern industrialist city, Birmingham in Alabama, named after it’s UK counterpart and providing the ideal environment for urban expressionist music that is both melancholy, post apocalyptic and chunky enough with bass to move a dancefloor.
Dubconstep is a bass driven dubstep journey full of whomps, wiggles and great synth leads that in true ‘Klone’ fashion are bittersweet at times and epic on others. - For fans of Rusko, Caspa, Datsik, Bassnectar
Local San Francisco dubstep and techno label Blipswitch Digital has dropped thier latest and our subs are bumpin!
A first generation stateside Dubstep and Garage pioneer since 2000, Jason Mundo is a veteran in all things heavy. His bass-centric Dallas, TX events like UKGarage and Dub Assembly have been among the most important in North America. Mundo’s unique productions came to international attention upon the vinyl release of his "I Stand Rasta", supported by Caspa, Kode 9, Mary Anne Hobbs of BBC Radio 1, Hatcha, L-Wiz, and more.
The Original Mix’s rapid hats and eerie synths paint the background as in-your-face bass pulses, tight snares, and wobbly fills propel the momentum forward. ROZANSKI’s remix is easily this SF up-and-comer’s coolest track to date; drugged-out synth melodies and percussion interplay with thick beats and an absolutely MASSIVE sequence of basslines. HUGE!!
The ever-prolific Matt B returns with a heavy dose of futuristic digital dub guaranteed to have subs rattling across the land. 'Bang' is the second release for Bass Science on Made In Glitch Records and is backed with a stellar remix from NSE.
Is this glitch hop? is it dubstep? what is a subgenre? Honestly we love the fact these sounds cross boundries, genres and dancefloors! We are constantly scouting the virtual airwaves at Addictech, and we are always pleased when we get presented with an opportunity to provide these releases for you - especially when they are drenched in bass, and hit the system with a Bang!
RFR have been releasing some stank ass dubstep since they kicked off last spring, and have been building momentum ever since. Currently the only 100% Canadian label running, the Rapid Fire Crew have proven that there's more to fear from our brothers and sisters north of the border than just Mad Cow Disease - That's right, we're talking 'bout "Swine Grime!"
Swine Grime is most commonly the result of a high concentration of too much bass packed into too small of an area. Dirty ass pig-step farmers Runge Kutta & D-Theory unknowingly spawned a new pandemic - the dirtiest, and most disgusting substance known to man, more contagious than any known variant of influenza and filthier than an overcrowded pigpen. In other words, this is some of the gnarliest Canadian bred dubstep to date.
Forget the surgeons mask, swine grime infects your ears, then spreads to the brain causing involuntary dancing and screaming followed by uncontrollable bass face.
Cyberset has just dropped a new release by Bird Of Prey - the Subtropic EP. Fusing Dubstep, Drum & Bass, Progressive and Trance influences, Bird Of Prey makes forays into new and exciting territories, taking quality bits from each of his influences and fusing them into a cohesive new sound.
Bird of Prey is the project of San Francisco bay area native Torin Goodnight. Creating electronic music for close to a decade, he has developed a unique take on various influences. His music is an attempt to hybridize various genres, fusing the swirling sensibilities of psychedelic sound with hard hitting dub and breaks vibes. Torin combines aggressive basslines, twisted leads, and colorful atmospheres to create a diverse and immersive soundscape. His recent success on Vapor Vent Recordings, many licensed tracks to compilations and now an EP on Cyberset Music has put this artist on the map, already being compared in diversity and freshness to the emergence of early Shpongle and groundshaking evolutions in ‘Psychedelic chillout music’, Bird Of Prey has quite a few surprises yet to drop on our unsuspecting selves.
Car Crash Set has released the latest single by Freddy Todd, titled 'Can't Fathom This'.
The single pulls its title track from Freddy Todd's debut EP 'Ghost Dance Messiah', released last year on Car Crash Set. This release includes three remixes by some of 2010's exciting new talent, all in a different style than each other bringing the eclectic sauce to the table.
San Francisco synth mangler NastyNasty turns in a slow motion stagger dance inducing remix of 'Can't Fathom This'. Om Unit takes the original track to the back of the club with a laid back soulful groove sure to warm up lounges. London producer RNDMS turns the vocals for 'Can't Fathom This' into a late 90s throwback French touch peak hour party monster. The single is rounded out by a new heavy track by Freddy Todd called 'Lofi Fiction Blaster'.
Glen Nichols a.k.a Future Funk Squad offered to dig into his vaults of experimental material for an exclusive release for Addictech.com, and we were more than happy to accept the opportunity!
The Orchestra of Doom is a project of secret epic proportions. Experimental, funky, and eclectic, these tunes show another side of FFS that we were excited to hear, and hopefully we will get additional performances from this orchestra soon! One of the biggest and best producers of the UK breakbeat scene has finally leaked out some of his large collection of studio works, keep your eyes on our updates, and ears on the monitors for more of these gems in the future!
“As the Market Crashed” is the result of years MonkeyMarc spent listening, absorbing and producing forward thinking music. Recorded entirely on solar power in his converted shipping container studio in Melbourne, mixed in Paris at Sumroom Studios and mastered in London at Transition, this album takes influence from a worldly palette exposing the listener to a diverse and eclectic musical journey unlike any Australian artist yet.
With influences reaching into the crates of hip hop, dub and dubstep this release is as much an ode to the past as it is an optimistic exploration into the future. With sounds reminiscent of early Dj Shadow, Dj Spooky, J Dilla and Flying Lotus, it is also equally influenced from further afield with more dub aesthetic acts like African Head Charge, Tackhead, Burial and Kode 9.
Underpinning the album is a strong message for social and environmental change, drawing upon samples that cover the global financial crises, the inequality of political systems and the world’s addiction to fossil fuels. These vocal insights add a dynamic layer to the massive futuristic basslines which go head to head with brooding instrumental beats and crusty old samples in a truly organic and original style.
The first half of the album draws heavily from a hip hop aesthetic. There are elements of blues, jazz and world music scattered across instrumental beats that take the listener on journeys to far and distant lands. The second half of the album ventures into deeper dub orientated territories relying on massive bass lines and shimmering stepped out rhythms. Samples of records from yesteryear come drifting in and out creating diverse and thought provoking music. This album is a truly unique contribution to the Australian electronic music scene.
For our 13th release we drop a serious smasher from VENT, with another wicked addition to the slow and low revolution! Itchy Feet is the quintessential funky bassline dancefloor destroyer; Evolution is the ultimate compliment, providing either the perfect setup to your crunksauce escapade or a deep and brooding soundtrack to the comedown experience after sweating it out on the dancefloor.
Sam Ashwell (Abstrakt Knights) and Dan Havers (DC Breaks) formed in 2007 with the premise of fusing styles, genres and tempos with one common feature - basslines. Having stormed onto the breaks scene with nominations at Breakspoll and releases on UK labels Hardcore Beats & Colony Productions, VENT are now impressing their ideas of mashing tempos featuring breaks, dubstep and 100bpm party mayhem.
Their growing reputation as one of the scene’s most exciting DJs has seen them play Glastonbury, Glade and regularly across Europe and the UK. Their championing of bassline music will also be taking them to Australia, New Zealand and an ever expanding roster of cities across the globe. VENT have previously worked with Si Begg, Cursor Miner, Crunch (Tipper), Deekline & Wizard, CTRL Z & Stereo:Type, and have further projects in the pipeline with Reso, Pyramid, DC Breaks, Epcot, Ill Spoken, Foreign Beggars, Eskmo, Profisee, Opiuo, Afghan Headspin and many more...
Muti drops another great release on us with one of their best emerging artists, Heyoka! Bringing a distinct sound all his own to the table, Marklar adds another dimension to the depth of Heyoka and his transmissions. Heyoka’s signature sounds of dubbed out, glitchy bass tracks and instrumental Hip Hop are ever present on ‘Marklar’ only this time they’re accented with crunchy dance beats and even venture into Drum & Bass and Electro Bass arenas.
Heyoka made his brand international this year playing festivals in Australia, Canada and being ever present at US club nights & festivals. His early influences in Downtempo, Dub and IDM combined with more recent mid-tempo dancefloor genres have helped create a very unique sound that combines relentless basslines, hip hop and dub rhythms with a lot of musicality and melody. The continual evolution of Heyoka’s productions and his ability to continue to sound uniquely ‘Heyoka’ is evidence that the road for this young producer is going to be a long and prosperous one.
At Addictech.com, we pride ourselves on having the cutting edge of electronic music.
We are a huge fan of Mr. Projectile, and to say that we have been waiting for this album with intense desire would be the understatement of the decade. "To The West" represents the next release from the Toytronic veteran and leader of the Semisexual camp, and its on constant lock in the airwaves at the lab. Beautiful, impeccably produced, and quite honestly one of the most original submissions we've received in a while, this release will stand the test of time accompanying many sunrises as well as bumping soundsystems for quite some time.
Quite a wide variety of sounds emanate from the west coast, and this is not your typical quickie bump and grind. The psychedelic layers and lush ambience accompanying the deep kicks and bouncing bass create an incredible experience when your ears are introduced to this new release. It will capture your imagination; take a moment to enjoy something we've waiting quite some time to be able to share with you! Congratulations Semisexual, another extraordinary release is added to your catalog!
No stranger to urban beats ‘Bassobese’ is new on to the Muti Music roster, but has been making waves in the Pacific Northwest for quite some time. His mashup mixtape,’$hitting In The Mainstream’ was one of the mixes fueling midtempo crunk and mashup scene with it’s audacious take on contemporary Hip Hop culture, Bassobese is now releasing an all original composition album to the greater public.
After six years of producing Hip-Hop and performing alongside acts such as KRS-One, The Wailers, Living Legends, J-Live, The Coup, Blackalicious, Heiroglyphics, and touring with artists such as Rahzel and Andre Nickatina, Bassobese has shifted frequencies, focusing instead on making music to melt the listener’s minds, while simultaneously providing the bass to shake the club.
Bassobese has crafted a unique sound that may very well be a breath of fresh air to those tired of the monotones of both the Dubstep and Hip-Hop scene. His latest album, 49 Nights Of Twilight is a psychedelic collage of samples from old vinyl seamlessly blended with cutting-edge textures and booming bass. The result is a sonic concoction bound to burn up the dance floor, yet full of melodies memorable enough to stay in your playlist for years to come.
With our first Addictech Records release of 2010, we unleash who we expect to be one of the biggest new “break out” artists that we have had the pleasure to forge an alliance with – OPIUO!! Another brother from down under, this Aussie’s bass is so deep we could feel the vibrations across the globe.
The OPIUO sound is original, funky as your eccentric uncle’s polyester panties, and thick with wicked and twisted bass. We have personally tested these tracks through the best soundsystems around, seen our heroes include them in their DJ sets, and have watched the happiness, joy and audio carnality that radiates from the crowd when they are dropped.
When we say this is the perfect dancefloor material it is no exaggeration. OPIUO bridges the gap like no other, keeping the funkstars rocking, while entrancing the psychedelic heads with all the right tones, frequencies, edits, and audio tricks that we love! We pride ourselves on choosing artists that have the tightest production, biggest bass, and original artistic impression on the waveform. OPIUO comes through with full confidence, wringing the sweat from our pores, as the human gyration generated from the speakers is unavoidable.
These are the releases that wrecked it not only on the dancefloor for 2009, but climbed to the top of our charts cementing their true value in the international underground music world. These are the artists you shaked your ass to in 2009, and it is a clear indicator that all of these producers and labels will be important to follow into 2010. If you have yet to pick any one of these releases up, delay no further! Dancefloor approved and supported by thousands of DJs across the globe, feel the bass ~ its only getting bigger in 2010!
We follow our last in house label release with a newcomer from the land of Oz. Addictech Records are proud to give you the first of hopefully many releases from our new friend down under Bran Richards, as his sound reaches into territory that we truly love. You will be shocked to hear the quality expressed on the virgin release from this 26 year old Aussie.
Stating his influences as Tipper, Soteg, and Prefuse 73 - it is clear in his own output that attention is given to impeccably clean production, big bouncy bass, and squishy squelchy tone selection, and this is what propels these minimal funky bombs across the dancefloor.
With the "Not Like The Fibre EP" Bran enters the family and Addictech Records roster with his first public release, and easily joins the ranks among the artists that inspired him to find himself inside these waveforms that we call sound!
Since their debut on Muti Music, KETHER has toured the US west coast and dominated the Los Angeles underground warehouse and art music scenes. Their gigs have included rocking the Do Lab stage at Coachella, playing alongside Tipper and Shpongle and lead time slots at Norcal festivals like Stilldream and Priceless.
Their second release, appropriately titled ‘Layer Two’ is a blend of Progressive thinking music with hard urban sounds produces a unique fusion of glitched out beats drawing on influences including Minimal, Progressive House, IDM, Dubstep, Breaks and Glitch Hop and also including many ethereal, organic textures that are both melancholy and very beautiful at the same time.
As a child Rob Tubb aka Cursor Miner would spend hours making tapes full of stupid comedy sketches, home made sound effects and "electronic" music recorded off ceefax. Many years later little has changed but for the technology available, the crunchiness of the beats and worldwide travel spreading the Cursor gospel. In the late 90's Miner's first computer based creations came to the attention of esteemed techno funk pioneer Si Begg and he released a number of tracks on his Noodles compilation “The Death of Cool”. At the turn of the millennium Rob's long time friend DJ Kone-r kicked off his label Uncharted Audio by releasing a Cursor Miner EP "This Mans Adventure". Then came dancefloor stormers such as "The Sport of Kings" and “Hair of The Dog", the latter two getting dropped, charted and bigged up by DJ's such as Andy Weatherall, Alter Ego, Aphex Twin, Dave Clarke, The Advent, and Laurent Garnier.
Cursor's legendary live sets at mega-raves such as Bloc, Glade and Sonar festivals have made many punters sweat over 8 litres a second and started a clubbing craze for wearing goggles, LEDs, green pants, illuminated tank tops and protective knee and elbow pads. Well not really, but we can only hope. Cursor Miner has been seen shouting into his distorted vintage microphone all over Europe; in Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Hungary, Czech Rep, Switzerland, Russia and almost any country you care to name. He has been released on Noodles, Lo Recordings, Uncharted Audio, Seed, Combat, IOT Records - the list goes on and on, surpassing nearly 20 labels in 8 years. He is truly one of the twisted bass elite, evolving styles and keeping the freak in frequency.
This release brings us filthy beats, raw and gritty basslines holding back nothing and destroying subwoofers with a mixture of dubstep, electro and some of the most banging glitch hop to come from the UK so far! Welcome to the Addictech Records family Cursor, we are honored to have you!
Liquid Stranger follows up his recent album release 'The Intergalactic Slapstick' with a hard-hitting dubtronica EP. Featuring remixes of album tracks Rough Road and Full Metal Jacket, the digital-only Steel Trap EP continues the trajectory of Liquid Stranger's signature bass-heavy sound with 3 additional new tracks of rootsy dub, specially crafted with a stepper’s mindset.
Impeccably mastered by Dave Blackman @ Hilton Grove, each of these tracks pack a distinctive punch while dropping solid dubwise grooves for the dancefloor. Prepare yourself properly for this latest excursion into the Stranger's multiverse of low-end modulation.
Master P on Atari Transformed Vol.1 sets the stage for a futuristic in-your-face, you-betta-be-paying-attention robot sizzle meltdown.
Master P Transformed travels beyond bassy and spacy with plenty of glitched out lazers locked full on the dancefloor. The remixes have elements of Glitch, Hip Hop, and Electro, but it is still David Y. Wang, a.k.a. Mochipet guiding the way beneath it all. This is a remix record that really gives the original Master P on Atari its fair due while allowing each artist to contribute their own distinct and original touch.
Also included in this release are the complete Remix Parts for the tracks: Master P on Atari, Turbo Thizz Petnation, and Robot Crunk Juice - off of Mochipet’s Master P on Atari Release from earlier this year. This is indeed a special bundle for all music producers in the house!
After repeated customer request we have aquired a treasure trove of crunk with the unmixed release of Tip Hop. Although originally released in 2005 as a heavily mixed and scratched full album, the DJ's that have been slobbering over the chance to get unmixed versions for their sets can finally end thier quest.
Also included in the package is an exclusive digital release of another Tipper slowrider "Low Low Shit"! This track was previously only available on a very short run of vinyl, and it has now escaped for everone to enjoy.
Finally we all have access to unmixed single versions of the album that could have very well cemented "Glitch Hop" as a relevant sound that will stand the test of time.
Rapid Fire Records brings Rusty Bridges second release Bass Snarbles, delivering his signature post-apocalyptic, warp wobble take on dubstep. Hailing from the mountaintops of British Columbia near the site of the Shambhala music festival Rusty Bridges has been influenced by many genres within the electronic music scene of the Kootenays as well as Calgary Alberta. This makes for a seasoned yet well spiced batch of synthetic bass snarbles with a side of skanky beats that will make you "crank up the bass and get down low".
A somewhat satirical take on dubstep and always humorous take on music in general, these tracks will get you grinding on the dance floor with a smirk on your face. Get it now only on Addictech.com!
Requiem for a Bassline is Jim Reaper's first proper outing for Rapid Fire.
Having had his first releases on the label as individual tracks, including the recent The Darker Phaze remix, Jim gets his chance to step up and give us a showcase. Featuring the previously released single Fast Eddie and the brand new politically charged stomper Get Out, along with 2 other unreleased tracks, this EP charts a new direction in Jim's production and musical style.
Don't forget your pennies for the boatman, because everyone dances with the Reaper.
Sea Food's idiosyncratic sound will have you questioning where reality ends and the land of milk and honey begins.
The Mollusk formula brings together ageless classic sounds with a glitchy, fat, sloppy mid range and rolling bass that has the crowd twirling, playing, spinning and toppling over. "Breaking convention" is the Mollusk's middle name, with his constant array of inventive ways of coming up with new sounds. These include recordings of a spray can underwater, circuit bending toys and wet towels thrown at a brick wall, among hundreds of other hair brain & fun ideas to create sound art.
The Sea Food project is a soup of field recordings, live guitar, bass, synthesizers and countless recordings from studios around the world. The resulting recipe is a combination of flavors.
The Mollusk started back in 2007 as a solo project, and has been to every state of Australia on his sonic journey. He has played at festivals such as Renaissance Festival, Rainbow Serpent and Winter Solstice. Shane has had the opportunity to play with some of his favorite artists such as Bluetech, Bassnectar and Vibesquad to name a few.
A resident of Melbourne, Australia, OPIUO brings the noise for Colony with a funked-up-glitched-out slab of Mid-Tempo goodness!
Imagine, if you will, a precisely blended concoction of tight chunky irresistible grooves, filthy energy fueled bouncy beats, luscious soundscapes, and a bowl of scrumptious glitchy bass... Welcome to the musical world of OPIUO!
With the tune secured for the label, who better to employ on a remix for the b-side than VENT who deliver up thier trademark wall of sound... with no frequency left untouched. A true steppa that continues to cement VENT’s place in the midtempo scene and that has received airplay form Glade and Glastonbury to many a west coast throw down.
Expect much more form OPIUO, Colony and VENT in the new future...
We wait patiently for him to release new material, getting to hear bits and pieces when he feels gracious enough to give us a peek into his unique and individual input into the world of broken beats and bass. There is no-one to compare him to, and he was an initial inspiration into us loving these sounds and taking the path of creating an environment and system to transmit underground and artistic music to anyone who will listen.
Bil follows no trends, and you can hear his distinct originality in each of these tracks. Old fans and new ears have a treat with this one!
We are truly blessed to be able to bring this exclusive release to you, and invite you into a world of eclectic sound like no other.

Rapid Fire brings us to the 4th installment of the Calgary Bass Junkies Series for an exclusive period on Addictech.com. As the album title depicts - all artists are either living in, or at one time have lived in the Calgary area. All three tracks are completely different providing a cornucopia of bass.
Mr. Bassline Junk-E makes his RFR debut with 'Numero Nuef', his track is funky, chunky, with an old school vibe.
Dreamthief makes his third appearance on RFR with his version of fidget house titled 'Check the Beat'. Quite progressive in his arrangement he works the bassline gradually and subliminally, as his name would suggest.
Last but not least is D.O.P.E. by Rusty Bridges, one of RFR's top selling artists to date, young Rusty Bridges puts a psychedelic and sometimes humorous twist on dubstep music. On this tune he sticks it to us with more of his bassline manipulation weirdness over stripped down beats that most certainly will go great with a little bit of the ol' d.o.p.e.!
Canada drops the bass and you can only get it here at Addictech!
Cloudcycle started one mad night 3 years ago and it is still morphing into new shapes...greg and maux have been shifting and drifting... working online at huge distance of time and space (greg in uk and egypt, maux in oz)....with no timeline, no deadline and no end.
Without knowing what to do and simply bored with the old music biz paradigma, they started to release this music as an audioblog on the net uploading the tracks as soon they finished them....including alternative mixes and demos and the samples to do your own remix.
Deep and heavy beats and out of nowhere melodies, slow techno and endless ambient drones....familiar with every genre without belonging to any trend, cloudcycle is a bunch of trip-a-delic dub-minimal-glitch-world-oddness, a spicy and scented delight for the senses...disappearing before you get hold of it...dissolving without trace...fractalized in micromacro syncronicities. Richness to resonance, truth to tonality, esoteric emotions and subtle harmonies... a spontaneous outpouring from our side to the world, a musical invitation to experience and join for the pure reason of sharing.

Nanda is fast becoming known as one of the US west coasts bass maestro’s with tracks like his ‘Yoda Knowledge’ being the # 1 seller on Addictech for 2009. So once again we’ve got some heavy bass driven beats, this time Nanda drops an experience of deep beats occasionally filled out with tribal vocals, light atmospheric accents and overall driven by textured basslines.
Nanda typically dips into multiple influences and emerges with something broken in beats and flirting with Dubstep, Grime, Garage, Electro Bass and Downtempo music genre classifications. The result is something that pushes a few edges technologically and somehow retains a sense of worldliness.
We love our West Coast family - thank you Muti Music, big up to all that support!

An-ten-nae takes influences from his multi genre approach creating this new crunked out midtempo sound with driving beats and big hitting basslines. An-ten-nae has the talk of the West Coast underground and is gaining more attention with BBC Radio's Mary Anne Hobbs recently featuring one of An-ten-nae’s tracks in her ‘West Coast Rocks’ following her US west coast tour.

Full Melt could potentially be the most influential dubstep crew to come out of San Francisco to date.Ripple just dropped these exclusives on us, and they fulfill any desires for the Nasty Dubstep Banger team. From being the first crew to bring dubstep headliners to the Bay Area to rocking a consistent output of gnarly bass, the inspiration that Full Melt has brought to what many consider to be the largest and most vibrant dubstep scene in the US is unparalleled. We have anticipated this release for quite some time. With all of the wicked releases that we get from Muti, we are constantly asking Dov when we will get a chance to hear his personal output. That moment has arrived with the “Earth Bleed” release, and we are honored yet again to add another friends’ gift to waveform matrix. The West Coast just won’t stop!
Dov is known as a genre pusher, from importing-exporting and selling some of the first Nubreaks, Dubstep and Glitch Hop to the USA and throwing San Francisco’s first dedicated Breakbeat weeklies in the nineties, to selecting and releasing music for multiple labels, he is in the trenches making sure the underground keeps a fresh supply of beats and bass.
Dov’s original mix of ‘Earth Bleed’ delves into ever expanding basslines and organic textures at times reminiscent of volcanic fissures and atmospheric rips. One of USA’s pioneers of electronica, namely ‘Single Cell Orchestra’ takes things even deeper into the darkness with a remix of squelchy basslines and a steady groove. Rounding out the remixes of the title track is LayerZ (also known as Audiovoid) delivering a version that is ghostly, haunting and yet helps dig us out of the deep pit of bass with rolling almost melodic basslines. Moving onwards the EP also features a collaboration track with Canadian breaks, dubstep, glitch, techno, electro producer/man of the moment, ill.gates. Night Of 1000 Tentacles is almost theatrical in nature, with clear dubstep influences, lots of field recording and sound design and also picking up the pace a little and showing much variety in beats and percussion. The EP is rounded of with an uplifting midtempo breakbeat track that is great for something to round off a night.
Recently producing dubstep remixes for Sub Swara on Low Motion Recordings and experimental /glitch remixes of Posthuman and Welder on Myuzyk and Cyberset Music respectively, Dov now emerges from the shadows with an EP of dubstep and midtempo breaks that is a journey of intense emotions.

Regarded by Silicon Scally as his "sonic hero", and releasing on over a dozen of the best electro labels in the world, the last 10 years have seen them establishing a foothold in the robot funk alliance. "wee gave up" is a release that could be the last output from the wee ones, and we are honored to be the only location in the know bassoverse to aquire this package. Glitchy heavy electro will always have a place in our heart as well as garner a lead position in our stock, and with the quest to amass the greatest collection of broken beat electronics, we take one step closer with this exclusive release.
Thank you Dave Wee - wee look forward to your next incarnation!
Informed equally by 80's arcade culture and the bleeding edge nanotech scenarios of the near-future, San Francisco's Jeff Taylor is an electro entity that pines for neither a lost past or a utopian tomorrow. Situated at the convergence of experimental electro, nu skool breaks, and dancefloor acid breaks, Jeff's music explores the darker realms of syncopation, and is not looking to relive the drum machine/ synthesizer aesthetic of his breakdancing teenage years, but to update it with the latest digital technology and neoteric aesthetics.
Since releasing with his partners in Ultraviolet Catastrophe one of the very first records to emerge from the Bay Area rave scene, the funky breaks classic "Trip Harder" (included in the Chemical Brothers' Brothers Gonna Work It Out mastermix), Jeff Taylor has been producing underground electronic music for over a decade. He signed on to engineer and co-write the first tracks from the Hardkiss brothers and then helped form the Pacific Collective as an experiment in alternative distribution designed to protect small local labels from shady record distributors. But being much more the artist / computer geek type (he's worked at top music software companies and beta tests high-end audio applications), Taylor decided business wasn't his passion, so he focused his expressive endeavors on music, graphic design, and video. Over this time his pre-rave love for electro returned with a vengeance, so he decided to launch into another round of beat and squelch manipulation. Yet feeling alienated by the IDM scene and its sedate, chin-scratching events, Taylor wanted to produce complex tracks that pushed expectations but remained visceral and danceable.
Pretension and Addictech.com bring you yet another electro jem, turn it up and let your squelch-bot rock!
Future Funk Squad (AKA Glen Nicholls) follows his 2006 debut 'Audio Damage' with his eagerly awaited 2nd album! 'Disorders of Skill' sees Glen teaming up with top US producers The Crystal Method, Hungary's breakbeat duo Beatman & Ludmilla and guest vocalists Mojo, Melody Klyman & Ben Keenan. As if that wasn't enough there is also a remix album set for release later in the year cunningly titled 'Reorders of Skill' featuring the whole album remixed by: Si Begg, Fine Cut Bodies, Andy Page, Karton, SOTEG, Eshericks, Curtis B, R3volve, 4Kuba, Digital Kid, The Peepshow Ownerz and more!
This is an example of one of the best producers in breakbeat giving us all a full album of dancefloor excitement! Addictech.com brings you another exclusive promo release of one of the bass elite!
To increase our heavyweight selections coming out of the Bay Area, we have an addition to the resurrection of one of our favorite labels, Pretension! This release brings forth a collection of tunes that are all co-produced by Bass Kittens and another artist, thus the appropriate title, “Vs.” Banging electro, intricate layers of sounds and spaces, vocoding madness, bass to write home to your mother about, these are what makes up the sounds that flip our switches and its all here! Working with the best in broken beat bass technology is what we do, and by releasing this to the people of Addictechlandia we stir the pot yet again adding even more of the spice.
We can’t express how highly we think of Pretension, and have incredible excitement when each release is dropped on our doorstep. If this release has anything to do with the soundscape ahead of us, the phoenix has officially risen!
Mochi just won’t stop. This release contains even more of the dominant West Coast sound, even more of the boom blip bap.Godzilla New Year is the second single off of Mochipet’s new epic glitched out bass crunk anthem, Master P on Atari, released earlier this spring. It combines elements of ethnic Chinese instruments mixed with street ready bass heavy Hip-Hop thrown into a Nintendo 8-bit blender ripped on slow-mo. The beasts are low and chunky and the gongs are bassy and sexy. This release also features remixes by some of glitch and bass’ finest: VibeSquad, Ana Sia, An-ten-nae, and Mimosa, as well as a re-treatments by Mexico’s own Nortec Collective (Clorofila) and Six Degrees Record’s David Starfire. The combination of styles and cultures are unprecedented, but flows along beautifully to make a surprisingly coherent release.
Get in now and prepare yourself ahead of the rest as Daly City and Addictech.com bring you this exclusive promo release!
Live drums, heavy synths, groove and energy are the foundation that Brandan Hale AKA Siren builds on. Hailing from Oregon and now settled in San Francisco, Siren is another new west coast find that has been making his distinctive mark on midtempo breakbeats and dubstep.
With a background of metal influences and playing piano, saxaphone, drums in punk, ska and metal bands, Siren brings both melody and unforgiving edge to his productions. Already making headway with touring the ‘bass’ scenes of the US west, ‘Spawn’ is clearly the first of many releases to come. Expect bass that hits you in the gut, raw and pounding lead riffs and some epic instrumental accompaniments, truly made for ‘large’ environments or the most urban of basements.
Another delivery from Muti, and you can only get it currently on Addictech!
After nearly a year with their heads buried in sonic experimentation, electronic production duo Editor have emerged with their debut release Interview Techniques. This full length album is heavily rooted in the style of dubstep yet encompasses aspects of dub, minimal electro, reggae, hip hop and other broken beat styles. The overall result is a journey through the sonic spectrum with interweaving twists and turns tied together by richly textured channels of groove, ultra slick production and discerning musicianship throughout.
Described by some as ‘wonky bass’, the unique style exemplified in Interview Techniques takes influence from artists as diverse as King Tubby, Miles Davis, Timbaland, RZA, Rusko, Tes La Rok and Flying Lotus to name a few. Listeners are drawn in immediately through the propulsion of heavy beats, wobbling bass, sci-fi lasers, curious vocal samples and contrasting shades of light and dark.
Aside from the countless hours spent in the studio the pair have been honing material for Interview Techniques at festivals, clubs and parties (including a foundation shaking show at Rainbow Serpent Festival) performing live using laptop computers, synthesizers, trumpet, percussion and more. They accompany this with striking visuals referencing vintage video games, Japanese sci-fi, psychedelic animation, evolution and other peculiar oddities warped for sensory delight.
In a burgeoning Aussie dubstep scene Editor looks to immediately join the forefront with their debut release of Interview Techniques.

Inspired by an electron micrograph of synthetic carbon nanotubules resembling a forest and river (see cover), ‘Molecular Forest’ mean-ders through a variety of genres, grooves and synthetic textures. Already known as a master of ‘Balaeric’ beats, this time Timonkey delves even harder into midtempo bassline whomps and electro synth pop leads. Some of the most surprising tracks on this release however are a Timonkey take on good old US west coast House music, with a strong dub vibe and definitely a good dose of celebration, tracks like these bring us back while still moving forward.
From his roots in dub, funk and ambient music, Timonkey's sound has been evolving further into the synthetic realms of midtempo glitch. He crafts his tracks using a combination of found sounds, analog synths, live instruments, and software wizardry, all from under the shade of the ancient redwoods. Influenced by years of collaboration with the 13 Moontribe, Raindance, and Nexus crews, he brings a unique flavor to the West Coast underground.
Another Muti release from a friend, and we've got the exclusive promo!

Kether may be a new signing with it’s debut release on Muti Music, but are no strangers to the performance limelight, already having dominated the Los Angeles underground warehouse and art music scenes and also being considered the act to bring in to fill the bill when acts like Shpongle or Tipper come to town. Kether took their act on the road this year and their gigs have included rocking the Do Lab stage at Coachella.
Marine Layer now comes out having been tried and tested as a live set and is primed for maximum effect. The music on Marine Layer is a unique fusion of glitched out beats drawing on influences including Minimal, Progressive House, IDM, Dubstep, Breaks and Glitch Hop and also including many organic textures that will please many. Kether is made up of two West Coast based producers known as Ruff Hauser and Stephan Jacobs. who write, breathe, create & produce music. Kether’s music is composed using analog hardware & software and is based on the idea of two opposite spectrums of sound, coming together to form one in unison. The word ‘Keter’ means crown in Hebrew. Kether is best described as pure consciousness, beyond all categories, timeless. This omnipresent state of mind, formed by two elements of dark and light, creating a neutral ground for sound waves to flow.

"Drift" is the debut full length album from electronic producer Nosaj Thing. His electronic sound scapes and wild beat tectonics play like vignettes that affect the listener's mind as deeply as he hits their soul. Without a doubt, Nosaj Thing is among L.A.'s finest musical modulators.
Nosaj Thing has received Artist-to-Watch accolades from XLR8R, remixed Daedelus and Flying Lotus, won Plastic Little/Turntable Lab's remix contest featuring MF Doom, and won L.A.'s prestigious Project Blowed beat battle. The BBC has been especially supportive of Nosaj Thing, with major spins from Pete Tong and Mary Anne Hobbs. He has shared the stage with the likes of Z-Trip, DJ Krush, Free the Robots, Flying Lotus, Glitch Mob and Daedelus. He's also a staple and a crowd pleaser at L.A.'s seminal Low End Theory club night. Comparisons run along with Ratatat, DJ Shadow and Boards of Canada.
Musicality, impeccable production, originality and the soul intonated through glitch. This is what we are here for!
Muti keeps the pace with one of their hottest new artists that had a very successful debut year in 2008. This time with an album of his signature sounds of dubbed out, glitchy bass tracks and instrumental Hip Hop.
Mostly composed while on a trip to Uruguay in Jan 2009 Heyoka has delivered a trippy , dubbed out set of tracks that show homage to oldschool dub while playing with modern glitch effects, instrumental hip hop, and elfin sonic layering, the result is a listen that could find your mind drifting into unfamiliar spaces that may surprise many.
Heyoka’s sound has led to more international engagements in 2009, with festival bookings in Australia and Canada in addition to maintaining a hectic US touring schedule.
The second new signing to Muti Music of 2009 is already receiving comparisons to another southern US based producer, i.e. Bil Bless AKA SOTEG.
Klone hails from a southern industrialist city, Birmingham Alabama, named after it’s UK counterpart and providing the ideal environment for urban expressionist music that is both melancholy, post apocalyptic and funky enough to move a dancefloor. Klone has taken full advantage of this environment producing edgy music with synth leads that are both melancholy and pretty, sitting over tough beats and basslines that growl as much as they whomp and groove. Following in a tradition of Muti artists who don’t stick to one tempo, Klone supplies four flavors that will fit right in with your 90 - 115 BPM collection.
For our seventh release we bring you a fully dynamic album from another local West Coast secret weapon!
Although fresh to releasing his material to the public, :Metaphor: (a.k.a. Dave Jolley) has been at the controls as a DJ, producing transmissions for the West Coast movement for nearly a decade, pounding the bassbins through his multidimensional and heartfelt compositions. In 2006 Dave took a position teaching electronic music composition alongside other major artists at the Red Bull Music Academy, solidifying this :Metaphor: into shape, and now we bring his first full length release to you!
A timeline of the progression of an artist, “Historic Pathways of Awakening” shows 7 years of artistic output, a diary of growth as a person and a musician. A fleshed out sketchbook of reaching for something higher, better, and more magical through sound. In the end, the release achieves his initial vision of a combination of funk and textured layers melding together from deep wells of intention, reaching for you to enjoy the space as much as the creator. Big dancefloor bangers, funky hip twitchers, and sunrise salutations, :Metaphor: lives up to his name, expressing many feelings and frequencies across the waveform of life.
The cat is out of the bag! The secret must be revealed. The :Metaphor: is here for you to experience, get in now!
Individuality and manipulations of genre have created a buzz surrounding Martyn in the past two years, with his intonation of the dubstep technoid waveform creating a sound all to his own.
Great Lengths is the culmination of his ever expanding musical palate: Huge basslines and dark atmospherics, uplifting and warm garage, precisely produced techno, and floating ambient spaces. Martyn brings you to an organic space that begs for another listen. Experimental yet totally coherent, being compared to a more “dancefloor friendly” Burial, it is a challenge to describe the nature of this distinct individual sound.
There is only one way for you to find out for yourself what this Dutchman has to offer! Get in and turn it up!
Subvert hails from Calgary, Alberta and his winding path in music started in 1996. Proof of his dedication to bass is in his track record of creating the world's loudest competition vehicles, designing pK's 90,000 watt sound system and managing the Village Stage at Shambhala Music Festival. He started DJing in 2000 and combined with his extensive work on sound systems and attention to precision sound, he was ultimately & naturally led down the path to creating his own music productions and once again the low frequencies consumed him. Subvert's sound is a combination of throbbing, relentless basslines, melodic strings and haunting pianos singing through midtempo glitch / acid crunk and dubstep. His attention to detail and the ability to tune into bass that works on a sound-system can be felt in all of his music productions, he is an expert in the subsonic, the crowd and the show.
This year appears to be an even hotter one for Subvert with a US & Canada tour and major festival bookings and this all new 4 track EP that will rattle a building off it's foundations if given half the chance.

Fat squelchy bass and knocking beats are in full effect, giving proper homage to an instantly classic underground Bay Area dancefloor favorite!
After nearly two years of questing through the audio underworld, wrestling crocodile-headed samplers and taming fire-breathing speaker stacks, Spoonbill has returned to the earth's surface, ready to address his ecstatic followers.
His message: Zoomorphic, a shapeshifting sonic celebration of Spoonbillism. Zoomorphic is set to earn Australia's most unique aural oracle thousands of fresh converts across the globe. Zoomorphic is the third album by electronic musician Spoonbill (aka Jim Moynihan), following the critically acclaimed Megafauna (2005) and Nestegg (2007).
This time around, Spoonbill's anarchic, quirk-funk, glitched-up aesthetic has been forensically finessed like never before, sculpted to a well-bodied medley of groove-based sound art.The Zoomorphic experience is crafted from an intricate web of edited studio recordings of exceptional musos melded with found sounds, foley folly and synthesised materials, much of which was captured while recently touring across US, Canada, Europe & UK. Squishy pulsating bass lines carpet the undergrowth, while dirty squelchy synth licks frolic in a warped menagerie of neurotic cyborgs, rattlesnakes, sirens, champagne froth, fireworks and crushed eggshells.
The jamboree coalesces to form a single groove shrieking beat-creature, covered with feathers, scales, bells and whistles. Zoomorphic is a diverse musical mutant for late-night dancefloors, introspective train-rides, and everything in between. This fresh batch of Spoonytunes will captivate fans of glitch-hop, IDM, breaks, psychedelic electronica, folktronica, dubstep, trip-hop and more – but the Spoonbill's mighty call can't be pigeon-holed into any single genre. Some folk call it “vaudeville electronica”, responding to the jovial carnival feel like circus clowns with lobsters in their pants.
"Free Energy" puts all the elements of the recent midtempo breakbeat and glitch hop revival on display, featuring edgy bass driven beats, complex drum programming, melodies and vocal stylings inspired by classic Underground and Hyphy Hip Hop. It takes the listenener into this bold new territory with a fusion of the whompy bass sounds that are driving the new movement, and tight, HIp Hop and Reggae flavors.
Knowa KnowOne's title track "Free Energy" features sacred spoken words from Wiseproof, Firewater, New Eon and the ever-conscious flow of Seasunz, from the group Wisdom, most recently featured on Bassnectar's "Underground Communication". Ethnic and indigenous rhythms are blended and syncopated to finely tuned breaks, beats and bass throughout the EP, which also includes a collaboration with one of Muti’s recently successful artists Mimosa, on the track 'Incantation'. For all the DJs out there, the acapella version of "Free Energy" is available.
What Knowa KnowOne delivers is a head-nodding hiphop lover's trip. You can also find productions by Knowa KnowOne and his collaborative project "KnowSleep" on Street Ritual Recordings, featuring Downtempo, Chillout and Instrumental Hip Hop.

We have to admit it; we love it when impressive music comes out of the Bay Area. Luckily for everyone, there is an incredible pool of talent here surrounding us. Inspiring and pushing each other further to find where the limits of our creativity stand, it is a honor to present to the world music that comes from our homebass!

So bringing this exclusive Daly City Records release to you flips more than just one of our switches! Mochipet drops a HUGE Addictech.com Exclusive Promo Release with us with the “Master P on Atari Single”!
Mochipet’s 808 Opus “Microphonepet” gained him a spot on 2kSports’ NBA2k9 Videogame along side acts such as Beastie Boys, N.E.R.D., and The Cool Kids. Now he’s back with another glitched out video game marathon. “Master P on Atari” is dirtier, bassier, and spaceier, with lasers set on full destruct. Always one to expand on his already immense electronic musical pallet, you’ll hear elements of Glitch Hop, Dubstep, 8bit, IDM, Metal, all chopped and screwed from the mind of David Y. Wang. This Muti gem started out as a project of sharing parts and remixes between LayerZ and Los Angeles based group ‘Kether’. This resulted in a conceptual EP using the sound palette to create three distinctively different evolutions of the same sound! LayerZ production style has always caught peoples ears with his special gift of sound design and evolving sound spaces, so expect to see a lot more of these experiments in the near future.
Lindsey (a.k.a. Audiovoid) has done his rounds from playing in a metal band, creating bass-driven techno, Industrial and IDM, more recently rolling out some of the best Dubstep, Elecrobreaks, and Glitch Hop around. LayerZ is his outlet for his take on slower tempos, providing space for next level sound design to his typically glitched out beats and effects. Receiving instant praise and play from the likes of Si Begg and Bassnectar, with comparisons to Neil Landstrumm, Ital Tek and Andy Page, Lindsey is only beginning to show us his full potential.
Direct from San Francisco via beautiful Marseille, France - IOT Recordings delivers 3 tracks of twisted dancefloor mayhem with the 3 Step Behind the Cube release. Always a master of taking sounds and tweaking them to an original shape, Audiovoid's aggressive beats mashed with beautiful melodies and hacked up layers of sound remind us that music can rock the body as well as the mind! Softbluecubes is one of our favorite tracks from Lindsey, here he gives it to us at 2 tempos, he's got a sound of his own and it is here to stay! Funny Ox rounds out the release with a breakbeat/dubstep hybrid - an original banger that progresses through hacked dubstep riddims to funky booty bouncing - blended together with all the right glitches and bass to push our buttons!

Currently on exclusive promo release at Addictech, we have more of that beatfreakin west coast vibe from the Muti camp. Nanda has once again graced us with a blessing of bass for our subwoofers with the Constant Change EP!
Typically dipping into multiple influences and emerging with something broken in beats and flirting with Dubstep/Grime, Garage, Electro and Downtempo shapes, the result is something that pushes a few edges technologically and somehow retains a sense of worldliness. In Nanda’s music it’s common to catch samples of Didgeridoo, Ood and ancient chants amongst other organic instrumentation. All in tracks that have some of the most crunchy electro breaks grooves, and the result is an intense ecstatic dance experience waiting to happen.
A whole year has passed since Chi's last multi genre package "Cup Of Chi", yet again they bring to your door a selection of goodies, this time a careful mixture of beats, cuts, glitches, and just a bit of pepper. AMB's "Rust" has been hammering the breakbeat floors for some time now, which is followed by the massive Fine Cut Bodies techhouse rework of "Be Infected" (original by the Hungarian vocalist, Varga Zsuzsa). The closing piece is brought to you by the Hungarian glitch maistro: Kodek, who has prepared a deep melancholic downtempo for the colder winter nights. Chi delivers a wonderful package of various sonics. Good music clearly doesn't stick to one genre!
Addictech brings you these sounds before any other site! Get in now on this exclusive promo release of a wicked batch of tunes!

At the top of the hill sits a house with its porch lights on. Nothing strange about this except for the massive subsonic frequencies pulsating from inside and rolling down this hill - like elephants having a "couples-only skate". They shake and jump to the bass, while wind-up toys and action figures to do the Runningman.
You arrive at this party on tugboats equipped with subwoofers, lazerz, and a deck full of lunatics on it. Who is driving this thing anyway? It doesn’t matter as you just can’t let go of this supersonic hug from the mothership. The sun is rising, you are surrounded by your favorite humans, t
